July 30, 2009 at 2:39 am | In china | Leave a CommentOver 90% of sufferers are infected at birth with parasites that cause ugly skin.QINGDAO MEDICAL UNIVERSITY – After 30 Years of medical research and over 900,000 patients, a team of Chinese doctors isolated a small unseen parasite called Human Demodex that caused people’s complexions to become rough, lumpy and reddish. The parasite also enlarges the skin’s pores. It was noted in scientific studies that babies did not have this parasite at birth. It was only contracted days later when the babies were touched by other humans. The infection grows with us as we grow older. Severe cases can cause Acne Rosacea or Demodicidosis. The parasite looks like a microscopic worm that feeds off the skin; it is light sensitive, meaning that during daylight it lives inside the pores and at night it reaches the surface of the skin.To counter Human Demodex, FACE DOCTOR CHANG SHENG HERBAL BEAUTY SOAP was developed. This all natural soap isn’t like ordinary or medicated soaps. It was specially formulated to kill Human Demodex. Awarded the 14th Annual Salon International award for inventions in Geneva, Switzerland, it was touted as being a “truly advanced skin care product”.People that have used antibiotics to no avail tried this soap and cleared their complexions immediately.”The Chang Sheng Soap cleared my complexion within days after 20 years of suffering. Before I was even embarrased to leave my house. I call it the Miracle Soap”. – Marilyn Barbe, Canada”This soap is so good that I am selling it to my patients. I highly recommend it”. – Dr.Leroy Gardner,FL.Now, the same company that makes the soap has come out with a HAIR AND SCALP FACE DOCTOR CHANG SHENG SHAMPOO containing the same bacteria-fighting natural ingredients. This shampoo is formulated to kill the little parasite buggers and promote healthy, clean, and lustrous hair. 3-steps/3 products for even faster results! Two additional products to use in conjunction with the Chang Sheng soap are now available. The three work toge

The Glass House
July 27, 2009 at 2:24 am | In china | Leave a CommentDomestic tensions turn intimately sinister in this pulpy potboiler, which develops a steely sense of menace. The trouble begins when Mr. and Mrs. Glass (Stellan Skarsgård, Diane Lane) are appointed legal guardianship of 16-year-old Ruby (Leelee Sobieski) and her 11-year-old brother (Trevor Morgan) after their parents are killed in a car accident. As trusted former neighbors, the Glasses welcome the orphans into their luxurious Malibu home, but the all-glass structure turns into a gilded cage when Mr. Glass’s motivations are revealed to be anything but friendly. With plot-thickening roles for Bruce Dern and Kathy Baker, the film builds considerable suspense before tailspinning into absurdity, and veteran TV director Daniel Sackheim takes full advantage of his prismatic setting and Sobieski’s burgeoning sex appeal. The rickety script by Wesley Strick (echoing his rehash of Cape Fear) eventually veers toward self-parody, at which point The Glass House qualifies as a high-gloss slasher pic. –Jeff Shannon
Customer Review: More than Half Empty
“Run of the mill” was a term I kept thinking while watching THE GLASS HOUSE. By the time it reaches its CAPE FEAR finale (where the villain appears to survive everything to remain a threat), I’d lost interest in the story–mainly because the characters weren’t very interesting to begin with. Leelee Sobieski is a hot teen girl. She looks great in a bikini, looks great standing around, just looks great. But there’s really nothing to her character to distinguish her from any other teenage girl. She’s sympathetic because she’s…hot. (She’s certainly not very good at eavesdropping since she gets caught every single time). You know what might have made this movie more interesting? Leelee actually begins to have feelings for her new guardian, Stellan Skarsgard. He charms her, pulls her in, draws her out of her depression over the death of her parents (imagine the betrayal that sets up!). But his character is so slimy and creepy that I’m surprised he wasn’t wearing a hockey mask or even a black stovepipe hat with a black moustache from his first scene. Everything is so undeveloped and by-the-numbers that nothing is a surprise. Diane Lane and Bruce Dern are around but the movie wastes their considerable talents. When it’s over, you’re left with…okay…that’s it, huh?
Vehicle Safety Tow Bar – 5000 LB with Safety Chains

Customer Review: Adequate for occasional/emergency use but caution……
I was looking for an adequate but low-cost tow bar and this one seems up to the job. After I have used it I will update this review. The unit I received did not have four safety chains [as shown in the current Amazon pic], it only had two. Also, it was short on hardware. I will point these out individually: NUTS FOR U-BOLTS: My unit came with eight, two per u-bolt, you will need to get eight more PLUS eight lock washers if you really want the u-bolts to be reliable anchors for your safety chains. LOCK WASHERS: In addition to the eight you need that I mention above, you will need four to go on the bolts that hold the two arms to the connector. BUMPER CONNECTOR PLATES: My unit only had the one side of the connector plates, you will need to buy the other side or have a welding shop fab them up for you if you are going to bolt the unit directly to the bumper of a vehicle. I did not want to bolt the tow bar to a vehicle bumper, here is what I did: I have a 5″ drop hitch that slides into a Hidden Hitch Class 3, 2″ receiver on our tow vehicle. Using that and a setup with two military-grade heavy duty clevis hooks per arm I think that I will be able to tow most light vehicles on typical city streets and highways so long as I watch out for deep dips and curbs. The clevis hooks came from Amazon merchant, Sportsmans Guide, Item #WX2-75834.

Luigi Bormioli Esperienze 88-ounce Decanter
July 7, 2009 at 1:51 am | In china | Leave a CommentLuigi Bormioli Esperienze Wine Decanter is a complete innovation in the field of wine appreciation. Designed by Federico DeMajo, the lead-free crystal wine decanter is a combination of technical skills and creative artistry. Made in Italy, the interior base of the decanter is designed with ripples; tiered concentric circles that facilitate rapid wine oxygenation as the wine is poured into the decanter and flows down over them for an excellent wine tasting experiences. Dishwasher safe. Size: 9-1/4″H, 88 oz.
Customer Review: Great value for superb wine aeration and a fun bit of table theater.
Luigi’s Bormioli’s Esperienze wine decanter is the classic ship’s decanter shape, but with an especially aggressive central punt (dimple in the middle of the bottom) and a series of concentric rings around the bottom. The rings and ridges are supposed to increase the rate of aeration. I don’t know if that’s true but everything about this decanter is designed to maximize aeration – from it’s extremely generous 88oz size, very aggressive flair, and huge arcing punt. The big size really maximizes surface area at the bottom – a 750ml bottle fills the bottom less than an inch and a half and the surface area is huge. This decanter is very attractive, thin and light weight, and does the aeration job superbly. Filling is a blast – the wine spreads out and comes down over the entire interior surface in a shimmering scarlet film. Very dramatic and pretty. This red curtain show is a great visual to share with friends – it really whets the appetite. Aerating really helps robust reds, particularly Tuscan and Riolla reds, Shiraz, Bordeaux and Cabernets. Old Cabs benefit from decanting to remove sediment too. Big reds are often too tart at first, and aeration makes them bloom into sun drenched sweetness. Be careful about over aerating timid wines, however. If the initial flavor profile is thin you don’t want to let it aerate too much (I’m visualizing Beaujolais here). Most Merlots, Zins, and Grenaches will benefit from aeration too – but you have to use your judgment. Once you get the hang of it you can tell by sniffing the wine in the bottle whether you’ll want to decant or not. I find I decant about 90% of the red wine I drink (but I generally prefer big reds). Only complaints? It’s very light weight and thin – I don’t think it would handle a fall or rough treatment (that’s a standard issue with glassware of course). It’s glass, not fancy crystal (what do you expect at this price?) Pouring the last glass is a challenge. You must almost completely invert the decanter – risking a splash. It’s a challenging final pour. A bit of practice helps. This shape is maximized for letting the wine breath, rather than making pouring easy. I think it’s worth the trouble. You should rinse it clean with hot water before it dries out because it’s tough to clean without a long brush. I always rinse it out with the sprayer on my kitchen sink and then just let it dry upright in my liquor cabinet. I don’t use a special brush or drying device and it’s always fine by morning. Given the huge size, low price, and functional design this thing is a winner. It’s a great value for aggressively aerating bold reds – a fun and festive thing to have on the table. Highly recommended.
